As the 2010 MLB All Star Rosters were announced yesterday, a obvious snub of a hometown player can't help but be noticed...

Rockies Catcher Miguel Olivo was slight for Cardinals man behind the plate, Yadier Molina.

Here are some stats to see how much of a snub it really is:

AVG: .229 OBP: .309 SLG: .302 OPS: .611 HR:3 RBI:31
AVG: .307 OBP: .363 SLG: .538 OPS: .901 HR:11 RBI:39

No hometown bias, but clearly the best Catcher in the National League won't be playing in the All Star Game...

A catcher catches the ball, calls pitches and throws out runners. Clearly these stats display that DOM.
